Coalition fights to allow cellphone use on planes |

The Executive Director for the Inflight Passenger Communications Coalition (IPCC), Carl Biersack, was recently featured in the national publication U.S. News & Weekly Report. Award Web Services designed the IPCC Web site and maintains the flow of information between the IPCC website and the public on proposed revision to H.R. 915 section 243.

"the FAA Re-authorization Act of 2009 (HR.915) in this Congress, that if enacted into law, would permanently ban all inflight voice communication services and prevent passengers from using their own mobile devices to send and receiv calls. The proposed revision (Section 423) would permanently ban aircraft passenger voice communications service using a mobile or wireless device and would deny passenger the convenience and choice of connectivity that consumers in other countries enjoy today."
